  4. Poor Links – Links is critical to create an authority. Poor links or links from bogus website will only create a poor reputation on the website as an authority on its niche. Poor links is even worse than having no links at all.
  5. Irrelevant Backlinks – Just because backlinks are important it does not mean that any backlinks will do. A backlink from a food website to a movie website is considered an irrelevant backlink.
  6. Link Farming – Link farming is when the website owners purchased multiple links to help increase their ranking. Though most of these links are high ranking quality links, major search engines have been monitoring websites which are potentially selling links and would often decrease the impact of these links in the SEO rankings.
  7. Bad Contents – Content is the ultimate foundation of a successful online marketing and high website ranking. It sustains the ranking long-term. Websites with many bad contents will never have a high rank in the long run even with using shortcuts on search engine optimization.
  8. Monotonous Contents – There are many different types of contents. You can choose videos, articles, pictures and even slideshows. Websites will only one type of content will rarely get at the top of the rankings. Only a few video websites were able to accomplish that and even video websites are fighting for the top of the rankings.
